Responsibilities:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

• MIG and TIG welding

• Follow direction of both team leader & visual aids
• Read and interpret work orders & blueprints
• Understand and hold tolerance with tape measure & calipers
• Setup and operation of manual & automated saws
• Setup and operation of robotic welding systems
• Setup and operation of manual mills & drill presses
• Setup and operation of tube bender & punch press
• Complete fabrication of (but not limited to) mounts & brackets
• Taking part in the lean improvement program (promoting continuous improvement)
• Daily data entry for measures
• Performs Quality Checks
• Other duties as assigned/required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational welding program or equivalent
• Good math skills
• Basic computer knowledge {data entry}
• Ability to achieve & maintain a forklift operator’s license
• Previous experience in robot welding is a plus but we will train
• Knowledge of welding procedures and equipment
• Experience with lean improvement a plus
• Able to move 30 lbs on a consistent basis
• Team Player
• Able to meet deadlines
• Able to withstand moderate amounts of stress

Work Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Experience Requirements:
